What areas do you cover?

We serve Manchester and the surrounding areas from our Trafford Park base. We also arrange moves to and from other UK locations. For overseas moves, contact us to confirm the destination and available route.

How much will my move cost?

Every house move is different. Your enquiry helps us decide whether to provide an initial estimate or arrange a survey, usually taking around 15–30 minutes. Your written quote will explain the services and any agreed additional charges.

Do you provide a packing service?

Yes. Choose full, partial, kitchen or fragile-only packing, with materials supplied. Unpacking can also be discussed. Owner-packed boxes may have different insurance conditions, so check your quote and policy before deciding how to pack.

How much notice do you require?

Give us as much notice as possible, especially for month-end and other busy dates. Contact us even if your date is not yet confirmed. Short-notice moves depend on availability.

Are you insured?

Our published standard Goods in Transit cover is up to £25,000, subject to policy conditions and exclusions. Request the policy and discuss high-value items or extra cover before booking. Packing arrangements can affect what is covered.

What size vehicles are available?

We arrange vehicles to suit the load, from vans for smaller moves to larger vehicles for household or overseas consignments. The survey helps us choose a suitable vehicle and crew.

How much parking space is needed?

Allow approximately 16–40 feet depending on the vehicle. We will confirm what your move needs. Let us know about restricted parking, loading bays and long carrying distances so we can plan access and explain any additional costs.

Can you dismantle and rebuild furniture?

By prior arrangement, we can dismantle and rebuild many types of furniture as an additional service. Some flat-pack furniture does not tolerate dismantling well; discuss its condition and any risks during the survey.

Where do you place furniture in the new home?

Tell the crew where furniture should go and label boxes with their destination rooms. Agreed dismantled furniture is rebuilt where suitable. The moving team cannot fix furniture to walls.

Can you disconnect washing machines or dishwashers?

Appliance disconnection and reconnection are not part of the movers' insured service. Arrange a competent person to isolate, disconnect and reconnect appliances safely before and after the move.

Do I have to defrost the freezer?

For storage or a move over several days, defrost and dry the freezer fully. For a same-day local move, ask us what preparation is appropriate for your appliance and use suitable cool bags for food. Follow the manufacturer's transport guidance.

Do I need to empty chest-of-drawers units?

This depends on the weight, construction and access. Remove fragile items and tell us if drawers cannot be removed or the unit needs dismantling. The survey can establish whether light, non-breakable contents may remain.

Do you transport gas cylinders, flammable liquids or paints?

No. Gas cylinders, flammable liquids and paints are excluded from our removal vehicles. Tell us about any potentially hazardous items so you can arrange safe, lawful transport or disposal separately.

Do you move jewellery and valuables?

Jewellery and certain valuables are excluded from the moving policy. Keep important documents, cash and jewellery with you, and check the terms for other excluded items before packing.

What happens if the keys are delayed?

Key release times can be unpredictable. Waiting-time charges may apply if access is delayed, depending on the booked crew and terms. Check the threshold and rates in your written quotation rather than assuming all waiting is included.

What if my house sale does not complete?

Contact us as soon as possible. We can discuss storage and a revised delivery plan, subject to availability. Your quote or revised agreement will explain storage, handling and re-delivery charges.

Can I access my belongings in storage?

Access arrangements depend on the storage option. Containerised storage is intended for minimal access, and retrieving items can involve handling charges. Discuss your access needs in advance so we can recommend the appropriate option and confirm current fees.

What are your payment methods and terms?

Bank transfer is our preferred payment method. Confirm current payment options and due dates in your written booking documents. Contact the office if you need to discuss payment arrangements before your move.

How can I contact you?
